Guy is one of the most knowledgeable, passionate security professionals I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. He has long been one of my favorite, trustworthy go-to resources during my cybersecurity career. I appreciate the organizational, technology leadership, and quality workmanship he puts into every program.

Since I met Guy 25 years ago, I have regarded him as a person with an extraordinary ability to view projects, issues, concepts, or challenges from many different angles. I have often experienced his great visionary potential far above the conception of many of his employees and superiors. His insights and attention to detail have always encouraged me to look deeper and to think further. He has always been an admirable mentor by sharing his broad and profound knowledge of sales, marketing, finance, technology and communication with passion and foresight, and providing me with the confidence to step into unknown realms of new business challenges.

Guy has always been my ‘go-to’ guy (forgive the pun) on the once rather obscure issue of Cyber Security and has been a great help to software companies I am involved in personally and in my roles at INSEAD. Of course, this subject is no longer obscure but has few truly experienced and knowledgeable experts who can appreciate the frightening existential risks to entire companies that can arise from a cyber-attack. Guy not only knows how to deal with the aftermath of such attacks but more importantly to recognize the potential risks and mitigate or avoid them in the first place. This does not just involve a firewall software patch but an entire approach to how a company and its data is managed as a vital strategic asset.

Guy is a mentor or guru for many cybersecurity professionals across the globe. He was one of the very few that I have seen to be thinking well ahead of the bad guys. While compliance was important for him, he was more focused on practical risk that generally does not get noticed or recognized. He would be a tremendous asset for organizations that are looking to establish or improvise their cybersecurity program. His leadership skills and ability to positively engage all levels of stakeholders (executives to executioners) with his capability and wit is something that continues to amaze me! Some have great ideas and strategy. Others have expertise in business operations. Guy has both of these traits and constantly deliver for customer success. It was inspiring to work with him in the early days of the internet bubble, and he has continued to climb the cyber tech ladder. Fun to work with, great team person based on global mindset.
